How long does it take to install a solar PV system?
The installation itself takes between one and a few days, depending on how complex the system is. The whole process — from consultation and sizing to commissioning — usually takes a few weeks, because it also depends on the distribution system operator's schedule for the grid connection.
What does it mean to be a prosumer?
A prosumer is a consumer who generates part of their own electricity, usually from renewable sources such as solar panels, and can export the surplus to the grid. The status is granted on the basis of technical paperwork, and B-Cell takes care of all the paperwork needed to obtain it.
Who can benefit from the Casa Verde programme?
Casa Verde, the Romanian state-funded programme run by AFM (Romania's Environmental Fund Administration), is aimed at private individuals who own a property designated as a dwelling. The exact conditions differ from one round to the next: for 2026, the programme is Casa Verde Baterii, aimed at prosumers, with its funding guide approved by Order no. 1904/2026. What warranty comes with the installed solar PV equipment?
Each piece of equipment is covered by its manufacturer's warranty. We use premium equipment from international manufacturers, and the exact warranty period and terms differ depending on the kit you choose. You will find them set out in the personalised quote you receive from us.
Can I add batteries to an existing solar PV system?
In many cases, yes. It all depends on whether your current inverter is compatible with the storage system. We check compatibility with your existing installation and, where needed, expand the system with additional batteries or inverters, so that you have energy outside sunny hours too.
What size solar PV system do I need for my home?
The right system size is worked out from your actual consumption. We analyse your electricity bills for the past year and the characteristics of your roof, then recommend the best configuration, with or without battery storage. The analysis and sizing are free of charge and carry no obligation.
Does B-Cell offer support and maintenance after installation?
Yes. The B-Cell team provides technical support and maintenance throughout the entire service life of the system, for residential and commercial installations alike.
